How does the virtual digital photo mosaic work?

1. Photo capture

Participants can take selfies themselves by scanning the QR code of our VIRTUAL PHOTOBOOTH shown on the screen. Alternatively, they can use our MEDIA UPLOADER program to upload shots taken by photographers or in photobooths.

2. Adding photos to the mosaic

Each new photo and its comment appear in real time and are then integrated automatically into the mosaic, either with or without being moderated beforehand.

3. Photo slideshow

All participant contributions replay continuously in a slideshow until a new photo is posted.

  • Do I need to install an app on my smartphone to be able to view the online photo mosaic?

    • No – the online photo mosaic is a web application so you don’t need to download it. All you have to do is open it in your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox...).

  • How do I integrate the interactive online mosaic into my website?

    • To display our photo mosaic on your website, simply insert the iframe from our application, which we will provide.

  • How do I display this digital photo mosaic wall on a screen?

    • To display the digital mosaic wall on a screen, copy its URL into a web browser (Chrome, Safari...) and set the window to full screen.

  • Can I upload photos taken by a photographer or in a photobooth to your online team-building mosaic?

    • You can only import photos in square format using our Media Uploader application for PC.

  • How many photos does it take to create a photo mosaic?

    • Our online photo mosaic automatically adapts to the number of photos. Each time the mosaic is completed, it automatically changes scale to make room for new submissions.

  • What photo formats are supported?

    • The online photo mosaic only accepts square format photos.

  • Do you provide a moderation tool?

    • With our moderation tool, you have the option of moderating photos before or after they have been published by participants.

  • Can I change the number of photos and the speed at which they are shown?

    • Yes – you can define the number of photos and the scrolling speed.

  • Can I deactivate text (name, comment) on photos?

    • We can deactivate the text display feature so that it only shows photos.

  • Where is my participants’ data stored?

    • Participant data (photos, names, comments, etc.) is stored on secure Microsoft Azure servers in Germany.
