WHICH EVENT SOLUTION FOR OVER 10,000 STUDENTS?

Every year, students of the Groupe Ionis schools end their studies with a joyful and festive graduation ceremony. But the pandemic has disrupted the celebrations for the class of 2020.

How to offer students of 17 schools a memorable graduation ceremony in person at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, while respecting health regulations?

AN INNOVATIVE HYBRID PHOTO CONCEPT

We put the students at the centre of our concept with the idea of creating a hybrid photo animation in 3 steps.

This involved engaging students online ahead of the event with our VIRTUAL PHOTOBOOTH and taking them live on stage at graduation time. The festive finale of the ceremony was our WE ARE LOGO™ photo mosaic animation to enhance the sense of belonging to their schools.

WHEN VIRTUAL PHOTO ANIMATION RHYMES WITH CELEBRATION

In the week before the event, our VIRTUAL PHOTOBOOTH played the role of Icebreaker. The students had fun taking selfies with their smartphones to find themselves together in a virtual photo gallery dedicated to their graduating class. We took the opportunity to present these photos at the opening of each ceremony to provide the graduates a warm welcome.

During the graduation ceremony, we took a photo of each student as they climbed the steps of the stage. The atmosphere was heightened as their images were instantly displayed next to each other. The 17 ceremonies ended with toques being thrown and cheers as the students saw their photos reveal their schools' logos on the big screen of the Palais des Congrès to lively music.
